Five tips for better photos

Brain on poster we've seen a lot of photos of them all. Of landscapes, portraits, sports team posters, the * ahem * more risqué. In all of the different categories of images, we have also seen a number of quality in the photos. We know our printing process can even sub par images and make them look their best too (hey, we even took a shot at the airport with our iPhone, and it was great), but it never hurts to try, to improve our users, their photos at the source: The second picture taken.

To this end, we have around the different available Information to the top combed offer 5 tips for better photos too. So here they are:

On the basis of subjective

Have you ever viewing (Photos from a friend, or were forced to sit through a slideshow of their excessively long vacation slides) and it was difficult to say what you should cover the following topics ? focus Are we meant to be that funny pose Aunt Mabel pretend to jump into the Grand Canyon or in the canyon itself?

Amateur photographers often try, too many elements combine into one picture. Or, if it is only a few elements in the photo (as Aunt Mabel and the Grand Canyon, they often do) to focus on their subject. The Aunt Mabel example, it would make sense to focus on her to ensure that the area is clear, the focus of the camera trained on her and not reach somewhere in the middle.

Most new digital cameras show you a series of lights or boxes to say what you are focused on. You can go through in general possible goals with half-press on the "shoot" button to the desired word.

Close the Gap

Really good photographers know that the closing, around the subject is a great way to really make your pictures even better. Why else would the telephoto lenses are so popular? By getting in close to your images capture more Facial expressions, more on the scale that Felsbarsch been caught, a better reflection of the sky in brilliant color of the car or more of the chocolate sprinkles on your child's face.

If your item is a Wild Animal or even an animal, it can sometimes be difficult to destroy them in close without getting the picture, but in most cases your photos better.

A short note on digital zoom: Most of the new point and shoot cameras come with a "digital zoom" function. This is not the same as optical Zoom (which is the case with lenses). Digital zoom is effectively blowing up the photo (using software) and the concentration of a certain part. While sometimes useful, is not recommend products that use digital zoom because it degrades and is very easy to blur.

Simplify supplementing

Simplifying your photos is accompanied by ever closer to the subject, but provides its own challenges. Look at the work of the great photographers: when Ansel Adams took a photo of a grizzled old cowboy, he also has a tractor, a barn, some cows, some chickens, a coil of the fence and the man's birth certificate? Of course not everything you need to know about the photo is true) it in the face of the man (and a little on guard.

And Your Photo of the fish you just caught You must not contain the Boot, the cooler held so that beer, you sat in the lawn chair and a beautiful Long Beach. You want the color and size to capture the fish and the fishermen who landed proud of her. Their theme is the majesty of nature and the exuberance of triumph, a hunter, not a manual method the catch of a fish.

Declutter your camera's field of view and better pictures at once.

Find a new perspective

If you're like most people, are when the camera in my hand holding it to your face and in the horizontal / landscape photography location to. No offense, but ... BORING! Imagine what Want to see pictures of your children from age 2 to 20, lined up side by side when they took all that. They would start out with the tops of their heads, then slowly they would reach eye level, and then look at the chin with a cap and gown in the background was.

Have you ever been a photo from an unusual Angle and thought, "Wow!" Of course, we see it all the time although it is not always obvious. Consider including a photo of your dog from its level or easy. You would probably see things you have never seen.

Even turning the camera 90-degrees in the vertical (or portrait) style can be some surprising changes to give in perspective. Be creative, try to hold your camera above your head down and shooting, paparazzi-style. Most of us have digital cameras in these Days, so why not experiment with all that "free" movie?

Lights Up!

Think about lighting. I know that you suddenly paralyzed with Visions photo flash bulbs, a stand-lights, and the crazy black umbrellas that the pros use (where they get this at all?). Do not worry, everything we want to remind you, are a few simple rules of thumb for better pictures.

First, you should, when outside the sun in the back, 90% of the time. Now you have a few steps to the left or right to interfere when your shadow, or if your subject can not adapt to stop cross-eyed, but for the most part you want to light on the subject.

Second, if you take a photo look at the sun or other light source, make sure use the "half-press" trick above, to force the camera to focus on the subject, not the sun. The tendency of these cameras is to focus on bright objects, so that it may take some time to get it right.

Finally, if you the inside look at how the lighting, the colors on your screen. I often find better, with less light than the light that made the shooting of low-wattage light bulbs, which makes everything a little yellow. Open the curtains for Natural Light, or turn off the lights and ugly you are using a flash.

The bottom line here is to think about the final product before you the picture shoot. Nobody has ever once looked at photos of loved ones and said to himself: "Wow, I wish I had not spent that extra second and concentrates instead just a blurry picture. "
